We tried using a bamboo sleep sack with the swaddle velcro on the inside for my daughter because it was a gift, but she constantly got her hands out and got them in her mouth. We tried other cheaper swaddles and they stretched after 1 use. Our baby was able to get her hands out of the top of them. We were recommended by a friend and taking Cara babies to purchase this swaddle. After fighting the cheaper swaddles we decided to try the Ollie and since have ordered a 2nd. If you are in the fence, just buy the Ollie. Don’t waste your time with other swaddles.

We thought we were fine just using the blanket swaddles because we had learned to tie those well while at the hospital. After using the Ollie swaddle once, though, we realized that we needed to give away every other swaddle. We were shocked at how well it kept our son asleep! It was a night and day difference and we didn’t have to worry about if the swaddle came loose while he slept. This is now my go-to baby shower gift—I can’t image the last month without it!
One thing to note—the Velcro is aggressively loud so if your baby is dozing when you put them in the swaddle, you just get one chance to get it right or else the Velcro will wake them up. It’s not a dealbreaker by any stretch of the imagination but just something I’ve noticed.

I’ve become one of those people who says “I never left a review until now!” But it’s true. This is a LIFE SAVER. If you’re on the fence, do it. I bought every swaddle under the sun and this is the only one that my baby likes and sleeps through the night in. My husband and I are obsessed with it! My baby likes the snug feel of a swaddle but tries to move his arms - so of course he would startle himself in other swaddles that allow for his hands to be up. Or he would somehow Houdini his arms out of swaddle sleep sacks. This one is so easy to use, great fabric for hot or cold temps, washes well and guarantees sleep. So grateful for this!

We bought the Ollie after our baby was born in an act of desperation because he fought all the other swaddles and slept poorly. We hesitated because of the cost compared to others. However, it is the best post-birth purchase we have made so far! It is the only swaddle we can get to be snug and tight without being too restrictive. The Velcro lines up easily and the fabric is really soft. I’ve already recommended this to two other friends who are pregnant. This is well worth the money and I highly recommend!

When I first purchased it, I actually ran into an issue with FedEx regarding shipping times (with no fault to Ollie Swaddle.) I reached out to Ollie’s customer service to see if they could help, and I experienced the best response and service I’ve ever received from any company. Our son had a rough start and I only WISH we knew about the Ollie sooner. He has reflux which makes sleeping a nightmare the past 11 weeks. Our daughter seemed to hate all swaddles! We tried at least 5 different ones before Ollie and she would wake herself up within minutes trying to break out of them… the first night and now for about 2 weeks since using the Ollie, she sleeps for 5-6 hours straight before waking up! Wonderful product and well made. We have used a variety of sleep sacks/swaddles with our first daughter but we always had some issues. The Ollie Swaddle is our go-to swaddle for our babies. After trialing many (I mean.. many) different styles, we ultimately landed on the Ollie because of how easy it is to use and how effective it is. Game changer for quality sleep. Hindi (owner) also is passionate about safety standards for her product which is important to us. Make sure you check out how to properly swaddle using this (shoulder length!) Makes a big difference and is the safest way to use. This already is in our hospital bag for our new baby girl on the way.

Life changing! We thought our baby hated being swaddled. He always wiggled loose from the classic ones and screamed when we’d try to put them on him. So we stopped trying altogether. After horrible sleep for all of us the first 3 weeks of his life, I caved and decided to order the Ollie. The first night we tried it, my husband woke up to take his part of the night shift and I told him we’ve been doing it all wrong, this swaddle is magic! Our son went from waking up every 20-40 minutes, to sleeping a 4 hour stretch that first night- and I had to be the one to wake him up for a feeding! It was a miracle. Since then we never go a night without it. We dread when it’s been soiled and has to go in the wash. I will say we did try other Velcro swaddles of various brands from Amazon and they just did not work for us. They were too thin and just not soothing for him like the Ollie is. When the time comes for our son to transition out of the swaddle, we definitely plan on purchasing the Alphie.

This is my favorite swaddle of all time. Trust me - I am super cheap. When I saw the price, I laughed. I got it with a coupon when I was pregnant so it was $40ish. My baby is 3 months old and I grab this one all time over all the swaddles. I wish I had more really but I can’t justify getting another since this is my :rd baby. It’s extremely soft. The material is thick and sturdy and you can really get your baby in a tight swaddle to make them feel like they are being held. 5 stars. Gotta put this on your registry for sure

We love our Ollie swaddle! My 6 week old has been sleeping so much better with this new swaddle compared to how he slept with the prior swaddle we had. The first swaddle we tried didn’t work for us because our baby was able to get his hand free which would wake him up. The Ollie is perfect because he can’t escape his way out of it and therefore sleeps soundly for long stretches (as long as a 6 week old can, at least!). I’d recommend this swaddle for all new moms who are trying to get some sleep - you can be rest assured your baby is swaddled safely and comfortably.

Our son, Ollie, hated every swaddle. He got out of every swaddle we put him in. Going to bed was very difficult for him. He did not want to sleep at all. Everything changed with the Ollie. At six weeks old we switched to the Ollie swaddle and immediately went from a couple hours of sleep at a time to 4-5 hours of sleep at a time during the night. After the fist night, my husband and I said “that went well, if it goes well again let’s get another.” Night after night or baby continued to sleep long stretches at a time, which meant we were sleeping long stretches at a time. Now at 11 weeks old, we constantly get 7+ hours straight every night! We are now using the Ollie to transition her out of swaddling and are looking forward to moving her into the Alphie.

Our son was born a little over two months early and spent his first 46 days of life in the NICU. Once he was able to be in a crib, the nurses began swaddling him and encouraging us to take part in his care by learning to dress and swaddle him. We tried numerous times to swaddle with the blankets provided while dodging all of his cords and wires to no avail. After seeing the Ollie swaddle on Facebook, I decided to give it a try. Not only was it easy to wrap him so that he felt secure, it allowed me to participate in his care while easily managing all of the wires connected to him by easily arranging them out the bottom of the swaddle. I wasn’t sure if my son was actually sleeping longer in the Ollie swaddle. Until one night he peed out of his diaper, and the Ollie swaddle had to be cleaned. We used our breasted bean swaddle for the rest of the night, and the rest of the night was horrible. The next day, when the swaddle was cleaned and dried, he napped for 40 minutes. If you knew my son then you would know that he is a cat napper, and the best day nap we get is about 30 minutes. Anyway needs less to say I immediately bought a second Ollie swaddle.  hate the price, but love the quality sleep.
